Here's a little bit about me! I am a Colorado native and grew up enjoying the Rocky Mountains. I enjoyed sledding, ice skating, snow boarding, hiking, rafting, and smelling the fresh mountain air. The one thing I didn't like was the cold weather that started in October and lasted until June. That's why I moved to Texas!
I moved here in 2010 to enjoy the warm Texas weather! Despite the hot summers, I am glad I moved south, because I reconnected with an Aggie man I met back in Colorado. I taught one year in South Texas, and moved to College Station to be closer to him. This move began my teaching career at College Hills Elementary. Mr. Jones and I got married and we have made College Station our permanent home. I also became an Aggie with him, when I received my Master's in Special Education from Texas A&M in 2014. Since then, we have become a family of 3, with the addition of our daughter Eisley (pronounced: Eyez-lee) Grace in July 2015! We have a very busy home now, but couldn't imagine it any other way!
I come from a long line of teachers which includes: My Great-Grandma, Grandma, and Mother. I absolute love my job and working with kids! I also really enjoy the challenge of teaching students school and life skills that will build a foundation for their entire life. Any child can learn, it's just a matter of unlocking that pathway to their mind and their heart!
